About Us

April House is a late Victorian house set in a quiet tree-lined street. It retains the grace and character of its age with lovely mouldings and original fireplaces. The beautiful wood panelled doors are a special feature and add charm to the spacious, tastefully furnished rooms. Each room has independent heating so that guests may choose their own room temperature.
	There are Colour TVs and Tea/coffee making facilities. An excellent library is available with a wide range of reading to suit all tastes. Whatever you choose to do, you can be assured of a friendly welcome and a genuine effort to make your stay here a memorable one. Wireless internet access is provided free of charge for all our guests

"April House is very well maintained and immaculately presented. Bed and bathrooms remain in very good order, size and space varies but ease of use has been given high priority in all. Flat screen televisions are being introduced adding another air of luxury to the bedrooms. Housekeeping was most impressive and continues to reflect attention to detail – a credit to you both. Bathrooms remain in very good order, all grout and seals clean and tidy. Bath sheets are in place with a range of branded toiletries. April House continues to easily merit Four stars."
